Come learn to compost! Compost bin sales are held two Fridays and two Saturdays of each month from 9am to 12pm. At all events, we’ll have discounted compost bins ($20 each) for sale. Bagged TOPGRO soil amendment is available only at the Lopez Canyon location. All sales are final. Free mulch is available at both locations as well—please bring your own container and shovel. Proof of City of Los Angeles residence is required for discounted sales. Please note that events may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather; feel free to call in advance.
At the Saturday workshops, experts will review backyard composting, smart gardening, worm composting, and grasscycling. There is no cost to attend. Please note that Friday events are bin sales only.
